The Admission Process at Thanekar International School (TIS) is designed to ensure that every child is placed in the right grade, supporting a smooth learning journey and strong academic progress. Our process aims to be transparent, student-friendly, and considerate of the community’s needs.

Admissions are based on the following key guidelines:

• Performance in the assessment
• Communication skills
• Socio-emotional readiness
• Alignment of the child’s aspirations with the parents’ expectations

Nursery, KG & Class I

There will be a parent–school interaction with the Principal, Academic Coordinator, and a teacher to understand the child’s needs and readiness.

Class II & Above

Students will appear for an age-appropriate admission test covering:

• Language skills
• Mathematical concepts
• General awareness

This process helps us understand each child better and ensures a successful learning experience at TIS.
